American road safety insurance institute – IIHS, released the new safest cars rating, which includes more than 100 cars. Of them, 65 got the highest safety rating – Top Safety Pick +, and 36 of them got a slightly low point. Cars that got into the list showed the best results on all endurance tries. Specialists also rated the active and passive safety systems of these models. Cars were rated in 9 classes by specialists.

Models from Hyundai Motor Group won the most awards. This South Korean corporation, which also includes Kia and Genesis, in total, they won 21 awards. 11 of them were Safety Pick +. Placed in second place with 11 awards, was Volkswagen Group. The top three were closed by Volvo, which received 10 awards.
